After a succesful tournament at Sam Rayburn Reservoir in Brookeland, TX, two teams from the Wabash Valley Bass Fishing team have earned the opportuniy to fish in the Major League Fishing National Championship this coming April

The tournament at Sam Rayburn had 186 teams and Wabash Valley had two teams finish in the top fifteen. Sam Ausbrooks and Elijah Jaime finished in second place with a total weight of 23 pounds and 12 ounces. Connor Becker and Hunter Sandschafer finished in thirteenth place with 17 pounds and 1 ounce. These finished qualified them for the national championship.

With these results, it has propelled WVC into the Top 5 rankings in the country. Wabash Valley is currently ranked 5th in the nation.
