Wabash Valley College Bass Team Signs Zac Corell of Campbell, New York

Wabash Valley College Bass Coach, Todd Gill, is excited to announce the signing of Zac Corell for the 2025–2026 collegiate bass season. Corell signed on Sunday, November 10th at Wabash Valley College.

Zac is the son of Gary and Ami Corell of Campbell, New York. He is a senior at Campbell-Savona Jr./Sr. High School. He competes in tournaments on the American Bass Anglers circuit, the Major League Fishing Phoenix Bass Fishing League, and in other local club tournaments. He has recorded two tournament wins, six top 5 finishes, four top 10 finishes, and six top 20 finishes. Zac started tournament fishing three years ago and credits Evan Luta for bringing him along and showing him the ropes of tournament fishing. His planned major is business and marketing. His goals for fishing in college include qualifying for a national championship and helping Wabash Valley College finish high in the school of the year standings. He would like to qualify for a pro-level circuit at some point in his career. Zac's favorite lake to fish on is Cayuga Lake. Outside of fishing, Corell enjoys hunting, golf, and high school sports. Zac would like to thank his parents for being super supportive of his passion for fishing. He would like to thank his grandparents, especially Duane Miller, for taking him fishing as often as possible and fueling his drive to want to get better at fishing. He would also like to thank Evan Luta and Omerta Tackle Co. for putting the time and effort into helping him build his competitive fishing career. Corell is excited about his opportunity to be a part of the Wabash Valley College Bass Team.
