Coach Terrance McGee hires Earl Lewis as new Assistant Coach. Earl comes to Wabash Valley College after spending one season at The University of Illinois- Springfield. A native of Madison Wisconsin, Coach Lewis finished his playing career at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater where he helped his team to a berth in the 2023 NCAA Division III Final Four. 

 

Lewis earned his bachelor's degree in business administration with an emphasis in sports management from UW-Whitewater and his master's degree in business administration with an emphasis in human resources from the University of Illinois-Springfield.

 

Coach McGee said "Coach Lewis will bring great energy, on court knowledge and experience to our family. Playing in a Final Four is a tremendous accomplishment and not an easy road travelled. Sharing that experience with our players and helping them understand what it took to get there will be invaluable."

 

Coach Lewis said " I'm truly excited to join the Wabash Valley basketball team as an Assistant Coach. I'm ready to contribute to the growth of these young men both on and off the court. I'm grateful for the opportunity to be part of the program with such a rich tradition and culture."
