Wabash Valley picked up their first conference win on the season this past Saturday, January 10th, after defeating the Statesmen 71-62. The Warriors had a one point advantage at half, where they led 28-27. Wabash Valley pulled away in the second half thanks to a 43 point outburst.

The Warriors were led in scoring by Nazier Leonard 15 points. Also in double digits for the Warriors was Mohamed Diaby with 13 points and and Taj Ford with 11 points. The Warriors used nine players in the contest and all nine scored. 

Wabash Valley is back at the Spencer Sports Center January 14th as they host Shawnee Community College.
