The Lady Warriors had the opportunity to avenge an earlier season loss to Vincennes on February 28th, and they seized the moment. Wabash Valley knocked off Vincennes 75-49.
Wabash Valley trailed Vincennes after the first quarter by a score of 16-12. The Lady Warrior defense was a big problem for the Trailblazers in the second quarter as they held Vincennes to just four points in the quarter. Wabash Valley outscored the Trailblazers 18-4 in the quarter to take a 10 point lead at half, 30-20. The second half was all gas and no breaks for Wabash Valley, as they outscored the Trailblazers 45-29. The Lady Warriors would go on to win on their sophomore night, 75-49.
Jordan Scott was the leading scorer for the Lady Warriors, as she finished with 23 points. Breana Dugans tallied 21 points in the victory. Also scoring for the Lady Warriors was Kassie McMasters with 10 points, Destini McAllister with 8 points, Aijia Elliott finished with 7 points, and Keeley Harris tallied 6 points.
